Experienced Family Nurse Practitioner and healthcare partner.

LaVonne has over 18 years of experience as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), predominately working in Adult Medicine to include Neurology and Infectious Disease. Lavonne completed her undergraduate degree in Kansas at Hesston College. She then completed her Masters (BSN/MSN) at Gonzaga University in Washington and her Doctorate (DNP) at Vanderbilt in Tennessee. 

LaVonne is a provider at UCCS HealthCircle Primary Care Clinic and a UCCS Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences Course Coordinator & Faculty for Primary Care of Chronic Conditions.

Caring for patients is her calling and she believes patients should be partners with their providers in their care. She is also thrilled to be working with professional colleagues,  in the college, who provide the same high level of care that she seeks to give all of her patients.

A Montana farm girl, LaVonne, married an Army Officer. The couple moved thirteen times before settling in Colorado Springs close to their grandchildren. LaVonne enjoys crafting activities like knitting, watercolors and making paper flowers.
