Masks are optional for healthy patients and staff. Anyone can continue wearing masks, but they will not be required on the 2nd floor of the Lane Center.
Any patient who is sick (coughing, sneezing, or who has a fever) should wear a mask upon entry to the building. If you are showing symptoms of an illness, the staff may ask you to wear a mask once you reach the 2nd floor.

Patients with a weakened immune system or over 60 may also want to consider wearing a mask for your visit and when you are out in public.
When to test for COVID:
- If you have any of the following symptoms in the last three days:
- A new cough
- Fever
- Shortness of breath or problems breathing
OR
- If you have had two or more of the following symptoms in the last three days:
- Sore throat
- Runny nose or congestion
- Chills
- Muscle aches
- Headache
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
- New loss of taste
- New loss of smell
OR
- If you have been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID or had symptoms of COVID in the last 14 days.
COVID testing is recommended for all patients or staff with signs or symptoms of COVID as outlined by the CDC. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/testing.html
Please help keep other patients and our staff healthy by wearing a mask when you are sick and testing for COVID when you have symptoms.
